Tube kicks off the show fast as usual, and contains some notable drum work by fish. Cars, Trucks, and Buses is also very strong, with some nice wah guitar work by Trey. Gumbo has a cool slower jam in it's center. Another very intense Piper that burns out towards the middle and begins to churn and pulse, as the guys look for a new direction. Fish steps in with a thunderous beat that sinks into a deep groove that seems fitting going into Theme From the Bottom, which is a strong set closer.

Jibboo is fairly standard to start things off. NICU is notably good. Sand has an interesting vibe to start it, almost other worldy. It goes into what sounds like a "Mind Left Body Jam" tease and the groove and rhythm stay in that vein. It feels like a Type 2 jam without actually being one. Trey has a lot of fun with it as it gets more and more intense towards the end. Mike and Trey duel it out at the end to a great conclusion. After Sand things seem to feel a bit uneven the rest of the set. Mountains in the mist is a gorgeous version. LXL has some great shredding by Trey at the end. Slave is standard but for a song like that standard is also good.

The encore has two straightforward versions of Silent and Heavy Things.

Overall an odd show to rate. It has great moments. But some of it also feels mailed in. 3 stars.
