Review by DollarBill

DollarBill This is the only show at Dobson Arena, 27th of the tour and I swear you can hear a thousand teases of other songs in this show. It seems the band has recovered from their illnesses they had down south and are now tearing through Colorado at a fierce pace. Very nice clear recording of this show.

Solid Buried Alive to open up first set. Rough transition right into a good Poor Heart. Cavern picks up the Roger Waters' type screaming from the last show. Nicely played, as was Possum and Guelah. Rift's timing is getting better, but still not totally solid. Stash was good, but had a rough end. Fluff sounds a little out of tune from Trey's part. It was reasonably played, but had a few rough spots in the travels. Very unique ending to Fluff as Trey picks up the acoustic and leads them right into a terrible Horse. Page tries to help, but the guitar is all over the place. Silent is better, but just ok. Bowie has lots of teases going on early and is pretty well played over all.

Page teases the old intro to Bag before they start it proper. Well played right into a very messy My Friend. Intro and song are both messy from timing problems and Mike mostly. Really funny Eugene ending on this one. Sparkle was good. YEM was also pretty good overall. Mound was solid. And then the Balls come out for their jam. Then an old tape cut, I suppose, leads us into a rocking Chalk Dust. This one is pretty good, but had a few rough spots. HYHU brings Fish out, who says he and Mike are having a footwear contest? Lengthwise is funny as always. Hood's timing is way off tonight, just really all over the place for all of them. I was even surprised at Page's bad notes. Golgi was also pretty sloppy for the ending of second set.

Double barbershop for an encore tonight with an Adeline and Carolina. And check out the stage banter during this part. Great stuff to hear for this time period. Then a ripping Rocky Top takes us home.

Fun show, but it got really sloppy towards the end. Lots of teases all over this one too.
