I have to reiterate what some other people are saying here. First off I will always love this band, but over the last couple years they have kind of lost me with the direction they are going. I thought the gag the other night was horrible, and wherever I have discussed this people on the other side of the isle have been rather nasty. I used to like discussing what worked and didn’t work for the band, but we have reached a new age apparently where the band is the best they’ve ever been and they do no wrong. The way the band is “evolving” and a portion of the fan base has pretty much echoed like what we like or get out, I find myself at a crossroads. I don’t envision really following the band around anymore and maybe catching a show a year if it’s close by. I’ll just wait around for live releases from 90s and so be it. I just don’t really have much desire to see another pillow jets or ruby waves to be honest. I guess maybe I’ve become jaded and now is the time to hand it off to the love and light portion of the fan base.
