The Grateful Dead played 13 mostly great shows at Deer Creek before the 14th went crazy, I went to 6 of those 13 (90-92) and it was considered by just about everyone to be the premier venue to see the Dead in the summertime, esp after Alpine was not an option anymore. That's the actual "Lore" on the Dead at Deer Creek.
