Nice review, @sethadam1! I love being a member of the Dad Pack. I took my daughter, same age as yours, to her first show over the Summer at Deer Creek. The show was similar to Jax, maybe a little stronger first set, perhaps a little bit weaker second set, but had a similar arc.

Being there with my daughter put it on another level altogether for me, though, and finally giving my daughter an idea of what happens at the Phish shows her Dada loves so much created a tremendous bonding experience for us, transforming a somewhat forgettable show into an epic memory. I had been concerned before going about what she would see, how people would react to a kid in her midst, but lo'n'behold, it all turned out nearly perfect, much like what you describe. Dad Rock ftw!
