the thing is...i don't need to "understand the energy" to know if the band is pushing the envelope and taking chances. If anything, I have a BETTER understanding of the actual music, because my view isn't blurred by drugs, alcohol or the collective joy of partying with 20K other fans. I haven't read a single review or complaint about the show that inferred it wasn't a good time. But while I will be purchasing N3 from LivePhish immediately, I probably won't even bother downloading an AUD of N2 because there just wasn't anything worth re-listening to.
