A damp night and evidently tough ticket outside. I remember this red-headed kid begging me for a ticket (I don't know why he was singling me out) and then others thinking I had tickets swamping me for a miracle until I just said screw it and walked in the door. Simply smoking first set with a...

A tough haul to get to this show on some very long snowy highways and, as noted in another review, a cold wet night after the show. Somebody told me at the time that Kuroda had friends from Industrial Light and Magic in the audience and added some extra zing to the light show. The shape of the...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

1996-11-23 Harry Hood (15:07) Set 2 Noteworthy
A really excellent version that captures the sound of the band in Fall '96, including strong Page (who seems louder in the sound mix throughout much of '96), dynamic Fish, who increases the jam's intensity, and rocking Trey.
Jam includes some unusual key modulation, then breaks into a Mike-led groove of sorts with building dissonance.
A mildly dissonant and tension-filled jam peaks, then after 8:00 breaks into a funky, rhythmic groove which builds intensity and -> to "Catapult."
1996-11-23 Divided Sky (14:01) Set 1
A magnificent and triumphant version. Check out the superb "Hood" from this show while you're at it.
