although i had seen Phish at least ten times prior to this show, this particular outing may as well be considered my first thanks to a couple o' sugar cubes i consumed beforehand...needless to say, i've never been the same since (neither has music, for that matter)!!!...the entire show was...

As everyone else has said, the first set here is a first set (you might be surprised to learn that they played plain old first sets in the mid-90s), but the second set features some really massive treats. Reba (!) opens the set, and it just radiates power from the very start, even during the more...

The first set is pretty much standard fare for the tour, although the opening Ya Mar seemed a little off to me. Trey didn't really put much into his closing solo. On the other hand, the second set is great and includes a few must-hear jams. Reba gets the rare call as the opener and proves to...

The first set is wholly unremarkable; getting some bluegrass is always nice, though. The second set, on the other hand, is straight fire. Set two flows really nicely. As per usual, we get the customary mid-set jams, but we also have a seriously great opening jam here. This Reba might have...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

1995-10-25 Breathe (3:50) Set 2 Noteworthy
-> in from "Mike's Song." The jam on this Pink Floyd classic provides fitting closure for another big '95 "Mike's."
1995-10-25 Reba (16:43) Set 2 Noteworthy
Trouble in the composed section is atoned for by way of a remarkable, multi-faceted jam. First, Mike and Trey team to create an extended passage of contemplative, exemplary play, with Fish and Page providing on-point fills. This soon builds into powerful and direct playing, with Trey's dynamic soloing offset by the others, in particular Mike (best experienced in SBD as part of Live Bait Vol. 12), before Trey goes off, incredible, shredding guitar not so much building as exploding, resulting in a memorable, fiery peak.
1995-10-25 Mike's Song (17:07) Set 2
A quick tempo, energetic 1st jam gets fired up, then takes a few more laps before breaking to the 2nd at 9:30. Dropping into a rhythmic groove, Mike and Page front while Trey goes mini kit. At 14:15, space takes over and gains a pulse and ominous sentiment, before -> to "Breathe Jam." The jam on this Pink Floyd classic provides fitting closure for another big '95 "Mike's."
