ORIGINAL ESTHER LYRICS:
On a hot summer night in a small western town
At a carnival down by the water
A young woman walked through the fairgrounds alone,
Esther, the Arch Bishop's daughter.
She walked past the carousel down to the lake
Where she spotted a wrinkled old man

Should note Mike’s rosh Hashanah wishes but did not note where.
Cant believe they played this show in a bar, can only imagine the crowd and if they even realized what they were witnessing, you can only hear a few claps and hoots throughout. Awesome that we get to hear this, if you haven’t...
This show deserves reviews and recognition. The audio quality on the Spreadsheet and phish.in is pretty good for this era, and the band is especially on. No bad songs or playing, and several highlights I'll mention here:
Sneakin' Sally has a great first jam, and a very extended and engaging...
The YEM here starts out pretty laid back....waaaaay laid back, actually...but builds to a pretty solid ending. The McGrupp is actually pretty darn good, and thankfully spares us the trombone solo (love ya, Fish!). Man, Wilson -> Peaches with Trey "singing" the opening drum roll is just fucking...
First of all, the SBD recording is pretty good but a little hissy. GTBT from the first set and the entire third set are missing. So, this review is only for the first two sets. This show has lots of covers, in fact, there are as many covers as originals in the first two sets. Walk Away and Funky...

I think this is a very enjoyable show. The first set is well-played and it's fun to hear Shaggy Dog. In the second set, Timber has a really good jam. I was surprised to hear how good it is actually. The Lizards sounds pretty good, but the recording is cut before the end of the song. TMWSIY> Avenu...
