(Saw the show from the field.) Last night's first set was tight, interactive, good-time Phish: an ideal summer set, the sort of hour you love hearing live and needn't race to hear. I was so happy with how well the band was singing(!), the clean execution of 'Rift' (and everything else), and...

What a show! My girlfriend's sister lives literally across the street from Fenway, I can see the park from the window beside me as I type this. Couldn't ask for a better commute to the venue. We went in around 7:15. It was pouring rain but the forecast said that things were supposed to clear up...

Compulsory “you had to be there” caveat. Musically, the show was fine! But this show ended up being about more than just the music (which might already mean we’re starting from behind, but I digress), so let’s start there. Rain delay. Tarps are out, people are sardines in a 100-year-old...

Was down on the turf, the cool breeze and shade from the setting sun made for a really pleasant night, the sound and sightlines were great. Set 1 was fun if a little weird flow-wise, but set 2 was really killer. Great jams in Sand, Mercury, and Fuego, and the flow of the set was just perfect....

Tonight is gonna be under rated. I get that. In terms of the standard of what they can do, it's not "IT". But God damn if I didn't have a blast tonight! As a local, Fenway was just a supreme atmosphere for this band. Before I go in, these last 3 shows have been a good reflection of summer19....

On paper this looks like a visit from chocolate-covered Jesus on a pony (that second set songlist is ridiculous, and doesn't even include the first-frame Destiny Unbound!); at the show it was like your grandma returning from heaven with home-baked cookies and your blankie; on tape it's an...

I listened to the show from an apartment across the street from Fenway on Boylston. Just sitting on the couch with my girlfriend staring out of the window at a bank of video screens I could see in the stadium which was bizarrely showing the band on two screens and a rebroadcast of the day's...

(originally published by Jambase) Phish's 2009 Summer tour began in an historic fashion at one of baseball's most legendary parks. After a rain delay, Phish - œ wearing Red Sox jerseys (Trey wore #18, Mike #8, Fish #9, Page #15(?)) -- took the mound and sang the "Star Spangled Banner" a...

Here is my short little review. This was my first time in Boston it’s been a blast. I’ve seen a number of amazing places like the JFK presidential library, MIT museum, strolled through Boston historic district, and became instantly smarter when we walked through Harvard yard. Fenway is...

Night 1 was solid, awesome peaks and highlights sprinkled throughout the night. Sound was less than stellar, Trey dipped in and out of the mix quite a bit. Glad we got Brian and Robert, Axilla, Ocelot, and Tube, those were a ton of fun. Free opener after Fourth of July was awesome. Got my second...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

2019-07-05 Mercury (19:58) Set 2
Extended take gradually leaves "Mercury" proper behind with some amorphous riffing and then enters an ethereal passage with meditative bass and searching guitar leads over a bountiful bed of church-like organ tones.
2009-05-31 Tweezer (13:09) Set 2
"Theme from the Bottom" jam for a bit.
2009-05-31 Light (4:42) Set 2
Debut.
2009-05-31 Ocelot (7:30) Set 1
Debut.
