This show opens with an unusually-jammed AC/DC Bag. Trey begins with a rhythmic strum of the strings to count in the song, and the whole band adds improvisational touches in the style of August '93. Mike has his effects turned on for the solo section, adding a new dynamic that prompts Trey to...

To be added to the setlist notes, possibly? Some pretty funny stage banter. After Nellie Kane, and before Amazing Grace, Trey tells the crowd "One more little thing here, we're getting rid of things, we're gonna do one here without any instruments, then the next one we're gonna do naked."

Check out the excellent YEM in the second set of this "average-great" show.

25th Anniversary! I've had this show for many years and it's one I've gone back to this one many times for the tracks others have mentioned. They're in perfect August 93 form here, but I think this is one of those shows where it's the setlist that dampens its reputation. Opinions on the song...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

1993-08-25 Possum (12:46) Set 2 Noteworthy
A couple of short sections that stretch beyond "Possum," plenty of intense, improvisational "Type I" action, and incredible shredding.
1993-08-25 You Enjoy Myself (22:42) Set 2 Noteworthy
Magnificent jam segment. Guest artist Baby Gramps joins the band for the vocal jam, which > to his "Nuthin' But A Nuthin'" aka "Mice And Bats."
1993-08-25 Nothin' But A Nothin' (5:48) Set 2 Noteworthy
> in from "YEM." Guest artist Baby Gramps joined the band for the "YEM" vocal jam, and then continue with a humorous rendition of his song aka "Mice And Bats," with Fish on vacuum.
1993-08-25 AC/DC Bag (9:39) Set 1
The old intro section is played again. Some cool Mike action on this version.
1993-08-25 Stash (14:48) Set 1
Yet another wildly exploratory August '93 "Stash." This one gets far from home, but doesn't quite gel cohesively.
