TRUE STORY!!! I was an athletic training major at the U of D and it was a little over a year after my first show 2/13/93! And for that, I was in the first row for god's sake, with my mind altered just a tad, if u know what i mean. Anyway, a student younger than me in the program walked in and...

We met Phish at this show too. Me and my buddy were in the lot super early and we were trying to get in to either listen to soundcheck or meet the band or whatever. We struck up a convo with a security guard and he said to 'Remember how Rockford did it' and luckily my buddy Ando did! We...

**This is my tenth of (hopefully) 71 reviews as I listen to the entire winter/spring '93 tour.** Another strong show that doesn't quite achieve the heights of 2.12 or 2.7, but is reaching and, for the most part, succeeding. The first set is remarkably similar to 2.9's first set. Both shows...

The tenth show of the tour finds the boys in a new venue and in a new state. The first of two shows at the Carpenter Center is pretty well played with minimal mistakes and good sound from Paul as usual. Good recording. Average Bowie to start with, maybe a few spots here and there while...

This is a really great show. And one that really sets the tone for the year long before Murat and Tinley. Bowie is a hell of a way to start a show. And this one is short but very sweet, it's fire from the start. Poor heart is very well played as most Phishgrass is at this time. It's ice is...

The jam charts got it just right... this is an INTENSE Melt. Trey's playing is chaotic, dissonant, and deranged, but some of his shards of notes are simply demonic jaw droppers. Fishman gets absolutely savage for the last three or four minutes. The Bag is played with equal intensity too, and...

The Bowie from this show has a lot of elements similar to the legendary 6-18-1994 Bowie

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

A nail biting thriller with excellent melodic variation, loads of tension and an intense and dissonant ending.
1994-04-18 Bathtub Gin (10:09) Set 2
Although largely straightforward, the jam is played at an accelerated tempo. This also marks the first real appearance of the present day, "Type I" "Gin" jam with Page and Trey melodically playing along to the "Gin" theme.
1993-02-13 Llama (4:53) Set 2
Some great Page, and then Trey cranks the tension up and Fish hammers it home.
Cool B&D segment.
