Submitted to the legacy Phish.net site 12/28/99... Well I just thought I'd put my thoughts in for this show. At $8 it was a bargain. Boulder was beautiful that evening due to the snow that was falling. Really thick flakes. The scene was very mellow and small. I think it sold out eventually. The...

I remember this show because one of my best friends was manning the beer booth, since he worked for the University catering service. I drank a bunch of beer that night. I also remember him saying it was one of the best nights he ever had at work since the band was so excellent. I could swear...

Another solid Multi-Track available for night 3 in Colorado. Maybe it was the acoustics in the Glenn Miller Ballroom but this is probably my least favorite recording of the bunch. With that said, it’s still one of the best sounding recordings from this time period. An MC starts off by going...

I am surprised by how little notice this show is getting. I really enjoyed this. Pretty average to above average for most of the show. Possum jam as good as advertised. After a really really tight Foam, the second set ends in a smoking hot fashion. The YEM is about as good as it gets so early....

This stellar show begins with little charisma as the band runs through several average (but not poorly played) hits before a ripping Mike's Groove. The Weekapaug in particular is madness. Things turn to 11 for the rest of the show. A nice Esther leads to a slow, funky Cavern. The set closing...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

1990-11-02 Possum (0:51) Set 1 Noteworthy
"Possum" -> "Buried Alive" -> "Possum." Great song pairing and an excellent, improvisational, and fiery jam.
1990-11-02 Buried Alive (1:48) Set 1 Noteworthy
-> in from "Possum." "Buried Alive" is played in the intro. Awesome combination and one of the best "Possums" ever. -> back to "Possum."
1990-11-02 Possum (9:35) Set 1 Noteworthy
-> in from "Buried Alive," which is played in the intro. The jam in this "Possum" is awesome, and the "Buried Alive" sandwich is just the icing on the cake.
Very good pre-'91 jam segment.
1990-11-02 David Bowie (15:10) Set 2
Tease-fest intro (see Setlist). The jam itself is pretty ripping and gets beyond "Bowie" with great tension building, nasty guitar licks from Trey, and teases or little jams on "Rocky Mountain Way," "DEG," "Fluffhead," and "Wipe Out." Released on Live Bait 6.
