Don't look now but Let Me Lie is quietly becoming a monster...loved it last night. And Speak to Me will be a barn burner ala jibboo and sand. Fantastic, shredding show last night. Nothing bad to say about the whole thing, on par with the best TAB shows since '08. the 5-6 ladies in the...

I have vivid memories of this show, as it's the only Phish show I ever "taped". The main reason I attempted to do this was because I had first row balcony seats, so I brought in a backpack with my portable tape recorder with built-in mics and some extra tapes. Of course, I had to indulged in...

We all know that lick Trey plays in the Hershey Disease from 12.1.95. That glorious uplifting flurry of sixteenth notes that sends all of us to that special place. If you've heard it, you know what I'm talking about; if you haven't, then you've got a glorious type-I jam to check out. But...

This run at the Beacon was highly anticipated, and would wind up being the final shows the band would play at an intimate venue in NYC. They sold out extremely quickly and I wound up getting shut out of the third night to my dismay. The band took advantage of the Beacon's size and acoustics by...

The shushing, the Rescue Squad, the Jeff… this is one of those shows that makes you remember what this particular music is all about. Trey wasn’t just playing his acoustic, he was playing the crowd and all of our emotional heartstrings like the master he is. As far as the compositions go,...

The lovely Beacon Theater. God I love this place. We came down from my hometown which was about 3 hours away. This was my first time at the Beacon. We knew these shows would be special because because of the venue and also it was pretty obvious by then that Phish was destined to play some pretty...

Brilliant! Sweeter. More heartfelt. horns. Cressman shows her passion for her presence on that stage. Nothing less than perfection. As Trey divulges his purest reason for being on that stage, life is worth it! Blessings to those who have sacrificed to bee there fir us upon that stage....

Loved the whole show and this whole series. I have a question for the set list...how is this full TAB debut? Trey has LML played since 2006. Love how Trey is going after the songbook. Nothing off limits. Makes TAB shows exciting not knowing what he will play. Tonight was amazing. The GOTF...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

1994-04-15 Wilson (4:47) Set 1
First version to have the audience chanting, AUD version also has enthusiastic claps. The band delivers a bombastic performance, surely energized by this new avenue of audience participation.
> from a jam-charted "Wilson." Perhaps still riding the energy of the first-ever audience participation in "Wilson," the band delivers another fiery "CDT." The jam starts with a bit of stop/start action. Page gives the organ a workout before Trey comes barreling in to take over with nifty play at a breakneck tempo.
One of those great probing versions that leaves "Antelope," comes back briefly, leaves again, home again, off again, etc. etc.
1994-04-13 David Bowie (13:11) Set 2
A very intense, high power version, loaded with tension and unusual rhythmic shifts, but not highly dissonant. Very solid.
1994-04-13 Stash (11:07) Set 1
Mike is noticeably strong in this dark and evil monster. Finishes with a "CYHMK" tease.
1994-04-13 Reba (16:22) Set 2
Another subdued jam with Page again complimenting Trey, whose patience is offset by Mike and Fish, their fills particularly spirited and on point. Trey works through patterned playing, which, cumulatively, has an almost hypnotic effect, before a concerted push works the jam up and into a mini-breakdown before rising into a trill-filled, soaring, release. (A strange bit of space before whistling brings this version to a close.)
