I was at this show, it was actually my first full show. I had seen them a day or so before open up for Santana. Blew my mind! I've got a soundboard recording and it is great to relive it. Reading the reviews above, I can agree that it was not the tightest show, but being my first, I didn't...

This is probably my favorite show of the summer '92 recordings. It's one of only a few full 2-set shows, and it's so great to hear the band stretching out more than they have been in their 30-45 minute Santana-opening slots. It's not a note-for-note flawless show, but the energy, playfulness, and...

Yay! A whole Phish show! As Trey mentions on the recording, the only one out west before the end of the Santana run, and before they take off to go to the studio for the Rift material. This is an audience recording. Not the best sound, needs more low end. Also, the recording is a quater step...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

1992-08-17 Tweezer (10:21) Set 2 Noteworthy
"Tweezer Reprise"-esque jam.
1992-08-17 Esther (8:40) Set 2 Noteworthy
Awesome version with dynamic, full-band play, and, unsurprisingly, especially strong Trey.
1992-08-17 Wilson (7:48) Set 1
Extra long introduction with rambling Fishman fills, horror movie bass hits, atonal Trey trills, and secret language cues interspersed throughout. Directly before chanting, they get into a funkier, "Alumni Blues"-like mode.
1992-08-17 David Bowie (11:59) Set 1
Jam grinds to a near halt around 7:25, then builds back up with excellent tension/dissonance.
An excellent quiet section is colored with mildly dissonant play by Trey, strong rhythmic fills from Fish, and good interplay with Page. Then tension builds before bursting into a ripping straightforward peak.
