This was my very first show. It's hard to put into words how much of a surreal heavenly experience it was. Every moment was magic. The band was on fire on this night, their playing was so tight. This show had all the energy of a tour opener, but without any of the rust. The band was already...

10/29/98 LA Greek- Fairly well known for it's atypical and exceptional Reba. It gets a bit spacey in the middle of the jam and then they tighten it up into this evil driving force that slowly evolves into the first Walk Away since the Bomb Factory 94. The sound at the Greek is some of the...

this is one of my all time favorite shows. the second set is just phenomenal. the first set is a little up and down, but the second set more than makes up for it. julius is a pretty solid opener. not my favorite song, but hey... roggae is played well, but this one still does not do it for...

(Published in the second edition of The Phish Companion...) Walking through the streets of Los Angeles towards the Greek Theater on that fateful night, I was at the beginning of a new passion in my life. I came up to everyone's belt buckles and...

EFFY Egeffy I wish that there was a way that I could write this note directly to trey...but unsure how to do so I post it here. I have been to hundreds and hundreds of concerts. Starting with queen in 79 and phish in 91 at biddy mulligans ( I only went to a few phish shows after that time until...

Like Ben above me, this is one of my favorites also. You probably already know about the Reba>Walk Away>Simple segment, but if you don't please stop reading now, download it, and get going! No, the Reba is incredible, builds into a jam that is simply other-worldly, then slides into a Walk...

Still one of my all-time favorite shows, it managed to stand out, even coming right before the unbelievable Vegas weekend two-nighter. I was lucky enough - no, smart enough to go to all three of those shows. They are all favorites. It was a gorgeous night, and yes, that place is lovely with...

My first live experience with Phish will also go down as the fewest songs they ever played in a single appearance. I believe they hit the stage late because their gear wasn't set up, so they only had time to squeeze in three songs in about 40 minutes. The Greek was pretty empty for their set, so...

Wow! From the worst to the best! This is another Santana opener with a great soundboard recording. This recording could rival any offering from LivePhish.com today! This might be the best recording of Page I've ever heard. I read the other review on here and the guy said that they were...

This is a pretty damn good show that you don't hear a whole lot about. bag through strange design are all played well. they are straight forward but well-played. page cuts loose a bit on cars trucks and buses as the band loosens up for a really nice first set yem. page, once again, is rock...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

1998-10-29 Reba (20:41) Set 2 Noteworthy
1998 is an awesome year for "Reba," and this HUGE L.A. version is a principal reason why. After breezing along in typical fashion, Trey summons a series of chords, and the jam enters a darker, more ambient space. This morphs into an awesome, deconstructed segment that would be at home in the "Tower Jam," before slickly seguing into "Walk Away."
Super, subtle, and very '98. Page drives a quiet jam featuring great Fish, and colored by Mike and Trey.
1998-10-29 Walk Away (6:29) Set 2
-> in from a massive "Reba." Nice version with an extended and rocking outro jam which neatly -> to "Simple."
1992-08-14 Llama (5:11) Set 1
> in from "The Squirming Coil." Trey is sick as expected, but Mike and Fish are awesome and add a lot to this ripper.
