This place, as I recall, was an old airplane hangar. It was underneath a freeway, and there was construction everywhere so the ground was all torn up in huge, gravelly/muddy chunks and frozen. What a shithole for a Phish show, but what can you do. My theory on the fried soundboard is the fact...

Today is 2/18/2018. So, 25 years ago, tonight, I went to my first PHiSH show. I remember it being cold. I remember it being at the Elecrtic Ballroom, which was a sh*t hole dance club underneath the interstate bridge mess known as the Henley Street exit off of I-275 and I-40 (it’s “I-275” in the...

For all you conspiracy theorists out there, this was the thirteenth show of the tour and bad luck was surely with them this night! This is the only show at the Electric Ballroom. It has some good songs, and then gets sloppier as it goes along, then has an abrupt ending. Lots of problems for...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

1993-02-18 Tweezer (12:28) Set 1
Takes awhile to get going, but when it does, it's very strong... before it cools off. Unusual ending too as Fish kicks ->into Foam.
1993-02-18 Reba (13:05) Set 1
Great drumming through the composed section mellows into a smooth, Mike-driven beat. Trey modifies his tone and hits a series of scattershot notes before infusing the jam with a warm melody and cool trilling. The band toys with an array of tempos and speeds before Trey seizes upon a great theme which is worked though a strong build into a nice peak.
After a nice "In The Hall Of The Mountaint King" tease from Page, the 1st jam is centered around "Another One Bites The Dust" (Queen) teasing, then the 2nd jam features more jamming to the same tune, but in a twisted and distorted way.
Extended intro with swells of feedback from Trey akin to the pre-Nirvana section of YEM.
