This was an awesome show. I remember The Circle opening. I liked The Circle, they were from Ft. Collins, I believe, and played in Boulder quite a bit. They had an excellent guitarist, and a hot female lead vocalist. I also remember thinking that even though I liked them, who would want to...

Earlier in the day, the Colorado Buffaloes football team had played the biggest game of the season against arch-rival Nebraska in Lincoln. Colorado running back Eric Bieniemy (despite fumbling 3 times) scored four 4th-quarter touchdowns and the Buffaloes won 27-12, setting them up for a chance at...

In the early days, it seemed that whenever Phish returned to Colorado, they were more relaxed playing in an environment that likely felt like a home away from home. This show is no exception, and the setlist would have any fan today drooling. Though the show is short on improv and long on...

Nice to have at least a partial record of this show for historical purposes, but the circulating AUD recording was a tough listen on headphones. Audiophiles will definitely want to tweak this one before immersing themselves in what was otherwise another fun show from the band's homebase for...

The Fall 1990 Colorado run seems to be much better received than the rest of 1990 for a lot of Phish.net. What does this mean? Well, I have a feeling it means that much of Phish.net that are scoring these shows have not listened to most of the rest of 1990! While there are some good things to...

This was a great show. I met the band and their music on this tour starting at JJ McCabes earlier in the month, and this was the show where they returned to Boulder less than three weeks later, and the crowds quadrupled (from 25 or 30 at JJ's). Dancing to Good Times Bad Times in the first set...

The Circle was good, and they were from Colorado Springs. Mike's little brother played guitar in the band. The interesting thing was the rare opening act allowed the band and a few of us to hang a ton more in the dressing rooms downstairs (which is probably why we all flubbed the recording!).

(Published on the legacy Phish.net site 1/4/2000...) Well I can't remember the setlist but neither can anyone else so I'll at least give this show some type of personality. First off this is the only ticket I have ever purchased that had my name on it which was funny yet it has faded some over...

Notable Jam Chart Performances

Individual jam chart entries from this venue:

1990-11-03 Magilla (5:39) Set 1 Noteworthy
Great, high energy and fun version with strong solos by Trey, Page and Mike.
1991-10-30 Jam (4:32) Set e
Fish plays or tries to play guitar, and the others join in with Trey presumably on drums in this stand-alone jam which kicks off the encore and > to "HYHU." This ghoulish sounding jam seems appropriate given the impending Halloween holiday.
