This is the only show at the Smith Opera House, seventh show of the tour. Lots of reverb and kind of a bad Mike night at times, this show had a lot of experimentation and risk taking going on making it rough at times. Good recording.
It's nice to hear the new piano open up with a good Cup....

Much better than last night's show. It's hard trying to imagine an era when Loving Cup was a new and fun cover. I'm personally a little tired of it, even though I'm trying hard to understand...

Power strumming by Trey leads to some serious tension and dissonance. Fish is great.
Mike is busy through an extended intro, engaging in a sort of musical banter with Trey, as the two seemingly swap signals. A calm then warms into a cool, really unique jam, featuring notably spacey Trey, who employs sweeping sustain and melodic variation to create a great soundscape before play very, very, slowly builds in intensity. Awesome.
