Based on the ratings here I was hoping for some more magic tonight and I got some huge bust outs, but the playing overall was just average. This was their second and last time playing at the Paul Wright Gym, 29th show of the tour. The recording wasn't quite as crispy as last night's either....

Good show that gets really weird towards the end. First set is good, no real problems until Esther. Trey's guitar is out of tune. The rest of the set is solid. Good Antelope jam. Second set goes along well until Hydrogen. Sounds like they got caught up in the Zepplin teases and/or Trey...

Loving Cup opener sounds bright and obvious they love this friggin' song. FOAM taken and a sprightly pace keeping the Loving Cup energy going Fish is flying all over the place.Trey plucks the hell how of this solo lol then gives us the classic 93' guitar tone at the end that Fish just sprays...

This show starts with an okay Loving Cup and basically most of the first set is kind of a slow burn. Reba heats it up a bit - slightly above average. By the end of the set they play a smoking PYITE and a Runaway Jim that's on fire. Trey throws down some runaway pickin'. I think the second set...

Imagine yourself in the summer of 1993. A dude you know gives you three soundboard tapes from the spring tour, set 2 of this night, the Crest Theatre and middle Roxy. Mind freakin' blown. I saw the two nights prior to this and there's no way I would have been prepared. I didn't even know...

This is a show where every song feels intentional, thought out, and flowing to increase the energy. Stash is my highlight of the first set, but the real love is in the second. With all of the rarities and debuts, in the middle of the tour (as opposed to the expected debuts to begin a tour), this...

I love Phish. Suzy opener is joyous and rocking. Foam and Sparkle both foam and sparkle. Reba is pretty good, Trey and Page lose track of each other a tiny bit at one point but it's alright. I really dig Brother here. This particular Esther didn't do a whole lot for me but it isn't bad....

1993-03-14 Spooky (1:09) Set 2 Noteworthy
-> in from "YEM." A "Spooky" jam is sandwiched in this "YEM" along with many other teases. -> back to "YEM."
1993-03-14 You Enjoy Myself (8:43) Set 2 Noteworthy
-> in from "Spooky," sandwiched in this "YEM." INSANE VJ! Teases include "Mystery Achievement," "We Will Rock You," Welcome to the Machine."
1993-03-14 Stash (10:10) Set 1
Departs "Stash" entirely at 6:55 into an intense, high power jam that eventually (about 9:30) gets back to "Stash."
1993-03-14 David Bowie (11:12) Set 2
Another sick one or, a great "Bowie" with incredible tension, varied jamming and an angry disposition. More twisted = More better.
In the first section, Trey opts for a more melodic jam, which become very rocking and driving. Fish and Trey add exclamation to this sentiment in the brief 2nd jam.
