Review by thelot

thelot Another nice audience recording available for this show. With that said, for some reason there’s a handful of pauses between songs in set 1 which interrupts the flow a bit. Thankfully no issues for set 2.

I Didn’t Know featured the one and only Otis on vacuum.
A solid Mike’s Groove follows. Hydrogen features the Misty Fields lyrics debuted in Portland the other night. Beautiful version of Tela. Always a welcome treat to any setlist. Unfortunately there’s some minor cd skipping during Tela and the Oh Kee Pa that follows. Fish is extra hyped up during this high energy Suzy. The recording levels drop before Stash. The Asse Festival has another solo from Fish to start. This solo is a little longer than the one from The Haunt. The Antelope closer has a decent jam.

Golgi kicks off set 2 and segues flawlessly into the first Curtain of tour. They pair this up with a spirited Ya Mar. The first Alumni of tour keeps the energy up. Decent Split Open. No megaphone for Fee again. It seems like the megaphone used at The Haunt may’ve been borrowed. Rippin’ Possum closer. Before the encore Trey says that they wanna give a late dedication for the version of Curtain they played earlier in the set. It was dedicated to a fan that called the hotline all Summer long requesting that the band play Curtain at Skidmore. lol Rockin’ GXBX to wrap up a nice set.
