spreaditround Initial reaction is that this show is rated way to high based solely on the its proximity to 103195

SET 1: Buried Alive: Strong out of the gate, nice effects from Trey >

Poor Heart: Standard >Julius, Punch You in the Eye > Cars Trucks Buses > The Horse > Silent in the Morning: Standard.

Split Open and Melt: Takes no time at all to get evil and dissonant. Ramps up a good bit in the early 8’s. First return to theme 8:56. My humble opinion? Not jamcharts worthy. Quite standard. Tame Melt.

NICU: > Gumbo: Standard.

Slave to the Traffic Light: Pains me to say, I listened closely, but this is your standard issue version.

Sweet Adeline: Standard.

First set summary: Solid on paper and well played. Not much else to say beyond that.

SET 2: Makisupa Policeman: 5 minute ethereal jam, very heady, cool effects at 4:32, dark, swirling stuff for a minute or so into ->

David Bowie: Killer delay loop effects to intro…Very delicate in the jam that gets everything started, Trey and Page play well off one another. In the 9 and 10 minute range, the jam will float you out into the ether. Good Bowie!

The Mango Song > Standard

It's Ice -> Kung -> It's Ice > Really good stuff right here, Kung seems to have an extra measure of aggression – no jam in It’s Ice as Kung filled that spot. Really should not be jamchart noted aside from the uniqueness of the pairing.

Shaggy Dog -> Possum. Tons of fun, Shaggy Dog was a huge bustout, a 359 show gap. Cool segue into Possum which I thought was ripped pretty hard, rollicking good time right here.

Lifeboy, Amazing Grace: Interesting way to close out the set.

ENCORE: Funky Bitch: Obviously saving everything they can for Rosemont.

Second set summary: Fun set – I will occasionally revisit the SET 2: Makisupa Policeman -> David Bowie and the It's Ice -> Kung -> It's Ice. Phish.net has this rated I feel a tad bit strong at 3.985/5 with 66 ratings. I would be more of a player in that 3.7 type of neighborhood.
