This was my first Phish show. I reminisce now about learning what a lot scene is all about (as I had been told lots are active to say the least) and how Blossom has one, if not, the best shakedown streets.

Only bad part of the show was the first bag of goodies I landed that day getting taxed by $20 by the wook who sold it to me (oh well, he needed the $ more than me). Otherwise it was a hippie flippie dream.

Didn't know all of the songs at the time. I'd later come to have a greater appreciation for tunes like Curtis Loew, Hydrogen, TYL, Suzy, Character Zero and Coil.

Highlights were Stash, Mike's Groove and basically everything from R&R>>>TYL. The glowstick war during Hood was epic. I agree with other reviews that this is the best BDTNL they've ever play. Despite this song's criticism and Trey's perceived partiality to it, I love it. Not my favorite tune but certainly holds a special place (and my God do the ladies love it). Also not my favorite or best show I've seen, but you've always gotta start somewhere. Had a chance to see Starlake 09 but didn't (prefer my first Starlake show having been 6/23/2012). Glad my Phish career started with this one and I still enjoy listening to it to this day.
