Man, did I enjoy this show. Some of my friends had asked me to take them to a show after years of talking about the band. They saw the SPAC webcast since I was present, and they liked what they saw/heard. Anyways, it was 2 first timers and 1 at his second show. They surrendered, and after talking about it with their wives, now even the ladies want to go to a show.

Loved Petrichor. Floor was talking up a storm, but then again, people are free to do what they want. I thought it was quite ambitious for the band to come out with that on N1 of the fall tour. That being said, I like a fast paced song to kick things off, and it seemed that some in the crowd didn't recognize it. In fact, I was asked by a few people standing around me which song was being played. Oh well.

Ghost is a favorite of man, and I'll never complain when they played. Crowd really picked it up from there on out.
Heavy Things on the other hand is definitely not a favorite of mind. Bathroom break for me after quite a few beers.

As far as Big Boat is concerned, I like it. Petrichor, Home, More, IAWITW are all great. It was nice to hear Page dedicate Home to his mom that was in attendance. Again, some around me didn't recognize it. I implored them to listen to the new album, hopefully they listened.

Who doesn't like Bathtub Gin. Phish is unlike anything out there, and my buddies were astonished at the entire crowd yelling that Bath line. The crowd never disappoints.

555, always good for me. I really like that song. Horn! I was never expecting that one, and finally More. I really like this song; I know the lyrics are cheesy, but trust me folks, the outro jam has legs.

Second set...now we're talking. Pure funk in NMINML, Cities, and Roggae. DWD is another favorite of mine, and I've been blessed to see 2 of the finest (Miami Disease and Dicks Disease). Again, nothing special here, but it's a crowd favorite. I'd say that was the meat of the second set, NMINML>DWD->Cities>Roggae. Definitely worth a relisten.

The guys seem to really like Light, as it consistently produces a solid jam. Boogie On was a freaking blast, and it really got the crowd into a dance fest. And to end with Harry Hood. It was a very solid Set II if you ask me.

Winterqueen, meh. Like Heavy Things, not one of my favorites, but the Tube and Rocky Top definitely made up for it.

Last word...I know the more entrenched fan has given the album a listen, but for the love of all things Holy...listen to the album.
