Your writing feels to me like an extended type-2 jam that takes the listener/reader out into the universe, turns them upside down and drops them to ground wherever it sees fit, exhausted but otherwise satisfied. In other words, it's a wild ride, if you can handle it!

That said, what's your beef with Bug my dude? Honestly that song has been one of their best playable anywhere, non-jam vehicle songs for decades, exuberant and thoughtful as it is beautiful. Personally, I'm always happy to see it. My $0.02.
