@nashvillephish you're less likely to miss something important if you pee during shade or whatever, that's the only reason. I love some slow phish songs, but if I have to pee and my options are midway through a ghost jam or the waste they play after, of course I'm picking the waste. I'm mostly here to listen to these guys improvise, doesn't mean I don't like waste or am 'not a music fan' lmao. You can see the shift from everybody dancing to lines of people heading to the bathroom when they start a slow song. You must be the only music fan there!
