tristan Great review! Agree on the first 40 mins of n2s2. They were fantastic. Don’t really have much to add about the YEM I havent already geeked out over on FB and in messages with friends, it was IMO well above batting average for 2.0 and beyond, even without the 2nd jam. Wave of Hope was equally impressive . I missed it at Forum 21 as well as half of YEM that night due to conflicting info on show time…ugh. I’ve listened back to that sequence a few times, and that is another good YEM for this era. But Wave of Hope can’t even be compared to last nights Creek version! Also of interest to note is that on 10/24/21 they also did that WOH/YEM pairing in the set opening 1-2 slot (albeit order reverse)

I’m not sure I am with you on Slow Maze working better than Slow Llama which I caught my first and only of at Chula last year. Slow Maze felt like a novelty and I would have been very excited to see for that reason alone. Slow Llama is a bit of a novelty too - but more danceable so I really wouldn’t mind seeing it mixed in from time to time
