I pretty much stopped listening to them in the year or two after Coventry. My life spiraled downwards, not because of this, but other issues- failed relationships, drug abuse (do NOT get into cocaine, kiddies), drinking, etc. Eventually I hit bottom and had to get into recovery. I was a mess, a skeleton, massively in debt and broken down.

Since then, I've managed to stay clean, but I shut down phish completely until this week. I purposely avoided their music, or anything about them for the past 6 years. I knew they got back together and once again I was annoyed - you wait until I get sober to reunite?!?!? Like the ultimate revenge on me.
