Thanks for the well done write up. It provided some interesting insight into why some of the long time phans criticize what seems to be excellent work to my ears. Not saying that I agree, just that it helps me understand where it comes from. I am a demographic anomoly, in that I am a relatively new phan who happens to be 50 years old, but I have spent hundreds, quite likely thousands, of hours listening to this band over the last few years, and all things considered I find myself drawn most often to 3.0 era shows. I am incredibly grateful to have been at this show last night, and I was well aware that we were witnessing something extremely special. It was energizing to be part of that audience, seeing something like that underfold in our presence. Amazing.
