TREY: You about ready back there, Paul? You never can tell with Paul. Everything’s ready to go? You guys can see here that I have here the new Fanon Spirit Beam in my hand. I’ve been working on this one for years. We’re going to try it out tonight. Get ready.

Okay, let me just tell you what this is so you guys can be ready. When I hit you with the Fanon Spirit Bean, with the Fanon Spirit Beam, the Fanon Spirit Beam that Paul’s been working on for a couple years here, what’s gonna happen is I’m going to coat the entire room with Fanon Spirit... When I do that, what’s gonna happen is people outside the building aren’t even going to know what’s going on because I’m going to be able to attract a giant cloud that is now hanging above the building, and it’s going to come and surround the entire building. If you could see through the cloud, you would see part of the building kind of disappearing, leaving the other part behind, leaving basically a shell. What’s going to happen is we’re going to leave all the shells of your bodies here on Earth, and the spirit of the building and all the people are going come with us. We’re gonna be traveling to a different place.

Now, when you leave tonight, the incredible thing about the Fanon Spirit Beam is that you’re gonna be able to transport yourselves back and forth after the after this whole experience. You’re going to be able to transport yourself back into the shells of your body, if you want, or you can leave at any time. This should last for a couple of days, and then it’s gonna wear off so you’ll have to come back and do it again.

When I do this you guys are all gonna come, we’re gonna leave you in ... The people outside will be looking at you. You may be inside your body when they’re talking to you, and you may not, you may be just out of your shell. They’ll have the hard time telling. You will know if you’re really inside your body after you leave the building tonight. Here we go now, phew.Gonna make sure it works first… [short Fanon Spirit Beam pulses] Okay [laughs] It’s working? [Long Fanon Spirit Beam pulse]

FISH: I feel it! I feel it!

TREY: Can you feel it?!

FISH: I feel it! [Begins making gasping sounds for the next couple of minutes]

TREY: Can you feel the Fanon Spirit Beam? I can feel it . I can feel it. Okay, it’s working . I can tell it’s working right now, that’s enough… [Pulse ends] We’re leaving the building. The building’s behind. The building, you know, the building’s here, but really it’s sunk below the ground. The cloud is now opening up, leaving you another concert upstairs, which is the just the shells of our bodies.

For the rest of the concert now we’re all gonna be leaving. What we’re doing is, we’re sort of drifting down into the darkness, and it’s getting darker and darker, deeper into the ground. We can do this now because there’s nothing solid left in our bodies, and we’re just floating down to the ground, floating to the center of the earth. You can feel it getting a little warmer, warmer, as we get down into the magma, the magma. Let’s just make sure that we’re all still there. You wouldn’t want to get trapped down in the earth, and have the shell of your body come back because you couldn’t come back. So let’s just, uh… [Fanon Spiritual Beam pulse] Okay, okay. We’re safe now...

When we get to the very center of the Earth you get hotter and hotter and hotter. It’s just our spirits getting warmer, our bodies are OK. Until we suddenly realize that we are now floating into the direct, pin center of the Earth. [Page teases something on piano] It’s like a black hole, and in that pin, is… [long pause] GAMEHENDGE! [Cacophony includes Fanon Spirit Beam sounds]

[Narratioin drowned out by musical cacophony] Looking off in every direction, blackness that starts to brighten into a deep green of grass and trees, mountains, and we know that we’re in Gamehendge. Now that we’re in Gamehendge, we look over at the mountain and we see a man on it, a little guy, climbing up. We know it’s Colonel Forbin, climbing up the mountain. He’s trying to get to the top of the mountain to talk to the Great and Knowledgeable Icculus. The Great and Knowledgeable Icculus is gonna help him find the Helping Friendly Book.

Now, as he climbs up the mountain, the mountain starts to rumble and shake, and it’s like an earthquake. He looks up, and there’s boulders falling down all around him, just missing his head. He’s grabbing onto rocks and roots, and as the boulders fall down, the mountain starts to take a different shape until big boulders come out and form eye sockets, then a nose. He looks up, and the mountain has turned into the spirit of Icculus right before him.

He looks up at the spirit of Icculus and says, “Icculus, you’ve gotta help us go get the Helping Friendly Book.” At which point Icculus calls on the Famous Mockingbird, who comes flying down out of the sky, lands on his shoulder, sends the Famous Mockingbird off to the castle of evil King Wilson to steal the Helping Friendly Book, bringing peace and tranquility back to Gamehendge forever.

And everybody, once that’s done, you can go back into your old shells. For about two days now, you’re gonna be able to leave your shell, and come back to it at will...
