I recall the stars being aligned for this one. I had just set myself up in an apartment within walking distance to/from Fiddler's Green. Therefore my apartment turned into the gathering place for our crew.
The show was pretty good with Piper being the big highlight for me.

I listened to this show yesterday on the anniversary of being at this show from my office, which overlooks Fiddler's Green. It was a really cool moment to look down on the lawn remembering myself there 17 years earlier. I didn't have a clue that I would be working right next to the venue way back...
I might have over-rated, but this was my first show....I told a pack of lies to miss a graduate class I was taking at the time. The second set sealed the deal for me....so many of my favorites at my first show. I was hooked.
This is one of my preferred outings of 2000 and I'd put this second set up with just about any from the year outside of Fukuoka II. Piper is the highlight of the show and just might be my favorite of the year and it's followed by other notable performances in Gumbo, Ghost, Mango, and Brother. The...
I enjoyed this show. The setlist is great and everything was played really well. For me, My Friend, SOAM, and the entire second set were the highlights. The Brother bust out was really sweet. I remember the sound in this place being noticeably low though, which kind of took away from the overall...
I had a great time!!! My hubby was dancin and the next moment he's puking and sick as shit bent over with his head between his legs. I still had fun and danced all night!!! Him, not so much.
I remember the weather was great~ and I missed the opener~ well not missed, just walking to the venue...
This second set is one of the best I've seen of my 38 shows, spanning 1.0, 2.0, 3.0. Just incredible. The Piper > Gumbo > Ghost > The Mango Song stacks up against just about any 4 song sequence I've heard.
Love the "mellow" Piper jam, with a guitar effect I've only heard Trey use at one other...
Almost exactly 9 years since its debut, this version harkens back to the old style of intense, chaotic, and electrified jamming. A little swirling '00-style sound manages to creep into the mix. Great Mike and a great version!
