I think the type of weird, dirty, spacey stuff that we crave and love is over, the chemistry for that is not there. However, there is a different kind of chemistry going on and I think second leg is going to be a blend of Phish we've never heard. There is still hope for things we've never heard (but sound familiar) new possibilities and unexpected musical experiences. Though I have the past of heavy rotation at home, that keeps me in a perpetual state of nostalgia, I try to focus on what will be invented in the future. It's going to take them a few years to carve a new path. Hopefully they will keep at it long enough for that to happen.
