    It was widely assumed that “Bobby Brown” was a pseudonym for Tim Rogers, the band’s original lighting director. This is not true; Bobby is a real person who played harmonica with Phish on four occasions. Not much else is known about Bobby, other than that he is a “skinny brown-skinned guy with short curly black hair,” according to Richard Wright. Also, according to Richard Wright: “Tim Rogers is a tall, heavyset, pale-skinned, Irish guy with long light auburn hair who was a roadie for Phish for a year or so; he also played mandolin on The Lost Paradox (the J. Willis Pratt tape produced by Fish).”
