   Parshley may be one of the most famous college professors to have a Phish connection. His came on 10/31/95 when he appeared (primarily on French horn) for the Quadrophenia set with his Northeastern neighbors.
    Parshley’s current title is “Adjunct Teacher of Horn” at Williams College in Williamstown, MA. He is a member of the Albany Symphony and Vermont Symphony and tours Vermont with the Vermont Brass Quintet and Vermont Symphony Brass. Parshley founded, and serves as director of, The Green Mountain Horn Club, which sponsors workshops and concerts for horn players. Also, he has performed and taught in Austria and is a member of the music faculties at Middlebury College and the University of Vermont.
